CANCELLATION POLICY
*There will be no refunds given for this elective procedure. If a client needs to cancel an appointment, the client will give a 24-hour notice and the $100.00 deposit will be held for up to one rescheduled appointment. Client will forfeit the deposit if giving less than a 24-hour notice. If the client does not show up to appointment, client will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required when booking any new service.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR PERMANENT COSMETICS
No caffeine 48 hours prior to the appointment
No alcohol 48 hours prior to the appointment
No vitamin E supplements or Niacin 48 hours prior to the appointment.
No blood thinning medications including Aspirin, NSAIDS, and fish oil for 1 week prior to appointment. (Please consult with prescribing doctor to be sure of timeframe and their preference. A note may be needed)
No brow waxing, brow tinting, botox, spray tanning, or extreme sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to the appointment
No bleeding disorders
No medical grade skin care 1-2 weeks prior to appointment
No retinol, Retin-A, AHAs, BHAs, Glycolic, Lactic acids, 4 weeks prior to appointment
Not currently on acutane. Must be off for at least 1 year.
Not currently on antibiotics or steroids
Cannot be pregnant
Cannot be breastfeeding
No autoimmune disorders
Not undergoing chemotherapy
No eyelash serums for 4 weeks prior to eyeliner appointments.
WILL THERE BE PAIN?
Pain is dependent on each client’s tolerance. However, a numbing agent will be applied initially and then throughout the procedure. Your comfort is important throughout the procedure but upon feedback, pain is minimal. I use specific needles that are recommended for permanent cosmetics, as well as pigments to allow for appropriate healing.
THE HEALING PROCESS
Healing time varies for each client. Brows begin to peel anywhere from 3-5 days after the appointment. The peeling process can take 7-10 days. Brows will then begin to peel. It is important to not scratch, pick, peel, or rub the brows during healing. Once the brows are done peeling, they will appear lighter until the skin has completely healed. You can expect the brows to slowly darken until healed between 4-6 weeks post initial appointment. Following correct aftercare will help to ensure
BROW SHAPING
Brows are shaped according to each individuals bone structure. I use tools to help pinpoint measurements on the face to create brows unique to you. Some clients experience “brow shock” as they are not used to having the “new” shape/color of the brows. Trust the process.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Permanent cosmetics can last anywhere from 2-5 years depending on client’s aftercare and lifestyle. Yearly color boosts are recommended if client is wanting to freshen up/darker the color
